Created in response to a short story writing workshop
with Damian Barr and visits to the Great Eastern Hotel.
These tablecloths react to the order and symmetry of the space to create a scene of disorder. This project intends to give a frame of a story asking people to imagine the rest on their own.
The tablecloths are printed with silicone so they part become waterproof and can contain water like a vase. The tables each have a hole in them into which the tablecloth falls with the silicone also acting as a grip for the flowers.
